Built for growers who light the whole plant, not just the top: the 270° wrap covers a bar's own footprint plus both flanks, so wide rows and tall plants get full lower-canopy coverage with fewer fixtures. One RJ12 chain, one spectrum, one platform shared with the rest of the SLTMAKS range. 150W and 300W, 4Ft and 8Ft.

In a dense canopy, the lower flowers that cost you the most yield are not directly under the bar: they are on the outside of the plant, facing the aisle and the pot wall. The Advanced 270° is built for exactly that geometry.
| Why choose the Advanced 270° Series | |
|---|---|
| 📐 270° upward wrap | Lower bud sites on the outside of the canopy receive nothing from a downward-only bar. The 270° wrap throws photons onto pot walls, row sides and lower branches: the sites that turn into fluffy, under-developed colas otherwise. |
| 🔦 More LEDs, wider emitting surface | Higher power and a wider emitting surface cover a larger area per bar than a standard down-light, so wide rows and tall plants get flank coverage without doubling the fixture count. |
| 🔥 Bigger heatsink, higher efficiency | A larger heatsink on a heavier-duty profile keeps junction temperatures down, which is where the Advanced model's efficiency edge over the Basic comes from. |
| 📏 Fewer bars per row | One 8 ft bar covers its own footprint and both flanks, so dense row layouts often need fewer fixtures than a straight-down plan for the same lower-canopy coverage. We map both options in the free layout. |
| 🧩 Same platform as the range | Deep-red spectrum, 0–10V dimming and RJ12 daisy chain are identical to the rest of the range: the Advanced 270° slots into the same control layer and controller as your other SLTMAKS fixtures. |
| 🧰 OEM/ODM and mix-and-match | Spectrum, PPFD target, logo, LED brand, housing colour, driver, style and design are all configurable, and 270° bars mix cleanly with Basic or Glass Cover bars in one room. |
Deep-red enriched full spectrum, customizable per crop protocol.
This under canopy led grow light runs a full spectrum with deep red output. Deep red drives flower development across the widest footprint in the range: because the 270° wrap pushes light onto the flanks as well as below the bar, the red-rich recipe reaches side bud sites a straight-down bar never touches. Lower-canopy tissue receives one consistent spectral environment from every direction the bar shines.
Under OEM/ODM the spectrum can be tuned to your crop protocol and matched to the top lights already in your building, so the under-canopy layer sits in the same spectral envelope as the rest of your LED estate.
We do not publish a generic spectral power distribution curve, because published curves are catalogue graphics rather than a measurement of this fixture. A measured spectral report for your configuration is available on request and ships with the order.
Values are the series range across the Advanced 270° builds. Efficacy is verified per production batch on our in-house integrating sphere; the test report ships with the order.

| Where the Advanced 270° fits | |
|---|---|
| 🌿 Wide pots and tall plants | The outer bud sites on the sides of the canopy are exactly the surfaces the 270° wrap lights, where a straight-down bar delivers nothing. |
| 🛒 Rows facing aisles | Lower branches facing the aisle stay pale and airy under straight-down bars; the wrap covers both flanks of every row. |
| 📏 Long single-row runs | 8 ft bars suit long runs with fewer joints and fewer drivers per metre of row. |
| 🔁 Mixed rooms | Run 270° bars along the aisles and standard bars under the canopy centre, all on one RJ12 control chain. |
| 🏗️ Retrofits and upgrades | The 270° layer is planned around your existing top light, so upgrading the under-canopy layer does not touch the top-light estate. |
At full output on a 12/12 flowering photoperiod, a 300W 8Ft build draws about 3.6 kWh per day and a 150W 4Ft build about 1.8 kWh. Dimming brings that down further, and the exact draw of your configuration is confirmed in the test report that ships with each order.
Under-canopy light is not a theory. It is the configuration behind our largest reported harvest, and the widest-angle bar we build.
Full write-ups are on the case studies page; the trial design and data are summarised in our under-canopy lighting guide.
Send your row layout and target lower-canopy PPFD, we reply with a bar count, a coverage comparison and a configured quotation.
Bar spacing depends on row width, pot configuration and canopy density: a generic table would mislead. Send your room and we return a layout with stated assumptions.
Row length, aisle width, pot size and whether plants are benched, floored or in a vertical wall.
Fixture count and wattage: the 270° layer is planned around your existing top light, not instead of it.
You get a bar count, wattage per bar, and estimated lower-canopy and flank-surface PPFD with stated assumptions.
Configured pricing, warranty term, lead time, and US / Canada warehouse availability for ready-to-ship models.
When your yield problem is on the sides of the canopy rather than directly under it: wide pots, tall plants, or rows where the outer bud sites stay pale and airy. For narrow benches where bars sit close under a flat canopy, a straight-down bar is often the simpler choice: the layout comparison will show which one wins for your geometry.
The bar dims as a whole via 0–10V. The wrap angle is optical, not electrical, which is why it stays simple: one driver, one control channel, one RJ12 chain like every other fixture in the range.
The surfaces it lights are the pot walls, row sides and lower branches: yield-bearing surfaces in a dense canopy, not bare walls. The +29.95% intercanopy gain measured in controlled trials is precisely the gain from lighting these sites.
Yes. All four styles share the same spectrum, dimming and RJ12 control platform, so a room can run standard bars under the canopy centre and 270° bars along the aisles without a second control system.
Yes. OEM/ODM covers spectrum, PPFD target, logo, LED brand, housing colour, driver, style and design. Samples are typically ready in 1–5 days and mass production runs 15–35 days depending on volume.
Ready-to-ship models are dispatched within 48 hours from our US and Canada warehouses. Availability moves quickly, so confirm the specific wattage and configuration you need when you request a quote.
