The most affordable entry into under-canopy lighting: slim bars mounted below the cannabis canopy that shine upward into shaded bud sites your top lights can't reach, turning popcorn buds into sellable flower and adding 20–30% average yields in controlled trials. Same deep-red spectrum, 0–10V dimming and RJ12 daisy chain as the premium styles, priced for whole-room rollout.

Under-canopy lighting is the cheapest yield per dollar you can add to an existing room: the fixtures, benches and HVAC are already paid for. The Basic model pushes that cost curve as low as it goes.
| Why choose the Basic Series | |
|---|---|
| 💸 Lowest entry price in the range | Under-canopy lighting is the cheapest yield per dollar you can add to an existing room, and Basic is the entry point. Same LEDs, deep-red spectrum and control platform as the premium styles, priced so you can cover every aisle and bench. |
| ⚡ Small incremental load per aisle | At 120–240W per bar, an aisle of Basic fixtures adds a fraction of the draw of one additional top light, and lights the lower flowers a top light physically cannot reach. The incremental kWh is small; the incremental harvest is not. |
| 🧩 Same platform as the premium styles | The LEDs, deep-red spectrum, 0–10V dimming and RJ12 daisy chain are identical to the rest of the range. You are not buying a second-tier control system to save money. |
| 🧱 Slim housing built for low mounting | A light, slim bar that tucks under benches and canopies where bulkier fixtures obstruct airflow and access. Rated for standard grow-room humidity; for chemically aggressive cleaning regimes, look at the Glass Cover model. |
| 🔌 Works with existing controllers | 0–10V dimming and RJ12 daisy chain are compatible with most third-party controllers on the market, so the under-canopy layer is scheduled with the rest of the room. |
| 🧰 OEM/ODM and upgrade path | Spectrum, PPFD target, logo, LED brand, housing colour, driver, style and design are all configurable. Start with Basic, and step up to the 270° or Glass Cover styles as rooms expand. |
Full spectrum with deep red, at the accessible end of the range. Customizable per crop protocol.
This under canopy led grow light runs a full spectrum with deep red output. Deep red drives flower development at the lower bud sites, where light filtered through the cannabis canopy above is naturally depleted in red. The recipe is the same one we build into the premium styles: the cost saving in this series sits in the housing and cover, not in the light, so budget rows still get the full deep-red treatment.
Under OEM/ODM the spectrum can be tuned to your crop protocol, and because every Basic bar is built on the same LED platform as the rest of the range, a mixed estate keeps one spectral language from top light to under-canopy layer.
We do not publish a generic spectral power distribution curve, because published curves are catalogue graphics rather than a measurement of this fixture. A measured spectral report for your configuration is available on request and ships with the order.
Values are the series range across all Basic Series builds. Efficacy is verified per production batch on our in-house integrating sphere; the test report ships with the order.

| Where the Basic Series fits | |
|---|---|
| 🌱 Existing top-light rooms | Bars are planned around your existing top light, adding PPFD to the shaded lower canopy instead of replacing what already works. |
| 💰 Whole-room budget rollouts | The lowest entry price in the range makes it realistic to cover every aisle and bench, not just a demo row. |
| 🏠 Small rooms and starter builds | 4Ft bars fit low benches and compact layouts where a full-size top light retrofit would be overkill. |
| 🔁 Mixed fleets | Same 0–10V dimming and RJ12 daisy-chain platform as the premium styles, so Basic bars mix cleanly with Glass Cover or 270° fixtures in one facility. |
| 🧪 First trials and side-by-side tests | Low fixture cost makes Basic the natural pick for a first intercanopy trial before committing to a full rollout. |
At full output on a 12/12 flowering photoperiod, a 240W 8Ft build draws about 2.9 kWh per day and a 120W 4Ft build about 1.44 kWh. Dimming brings that down further, and the exact draw of your configuration is confirmed in the test report that ships with each order.
Send your room size and target lower-canopy PPFD, we reply with a bar count, a layout and a configured quotation.
We do not publish a generic fixture-per-square-foot table, because bar spacing depends on bench height, row width and canopy density. Send your room and we return a layout with stated assumptions.
Canopy footprint, bench or pot layout, aisle width, and how the lower canopy is currently shaded.
Fixture count and wattage: under-canopy bars are planned around your existing top light, not instead of it.
You get a bar count, 4Ft or 8Ft recommendation, wattage per bar, and estimated lower-canopy PPFD with stated assumptions.

Two things: the polycarbonate cover and the housing profile. The Advanced under canopy grow light runs higher power with more LEDs and a wider emitting surface for a larger coverage area, and its bigger heatsink on a different profile makes it more efficient. The Basic model keeps the same spectrum, dimming and control platform, and on price-to-performance it is a solid choice.
Controlled trials measured +24.58% dry flower yield and +29.95% intercanopy gain when under-canopy bars were added to a standard top-light room. Our own largest reference project ran 600 × 120W under-canopy fixtures alongside 200 top lights and reported 1,372 lbs total. It is measurable, repeatable agronomy.
It depends on your layout. If the space allows, we recommend the 240W 8Ft: installation is simpler, and one fixture does the work of two 4Ft bars. Send the room and we will map the layout with stated assumptions.
Yes. 0–10V dimming and RJ12 daisy chain make the Basic compatible with most third-party controllers on the market, so the under-canopy layer can be scheduled with the rest of the room.
Yes. OEM/ODM covers spectrum, PPFD target, logo, LED brand, housing colour, driver, style and design. Samples are typically ready in 1–5 days and mass production runs 15–35 days depending on volume.
Ready-to-ship models are dispatched within 48 hours from our US and Canada warehouses. Availability moves quickly, so confirm the specific wattage and configuration you need when you request a quote.
