For growers who run heavy foliar programmes and never skip a washdown: a tempered-glass cover that survives the same sanitation calendar as your benches, lighting the lower bud sites top lights can't reach. Stable transmission, fewer replacements, and one spectrum and RJ12 chain across the whole range. 120W, 4Ft, factory direct.

The space under a dense cannabis canopy is the most punishing microclimate in the room. Cover material is not a cosmetic choice: it decides whether the bar is still transmitting full photon output three crops from now.
| Why choose the Pro Glass Cover Series | |
|---|---|
| 💧 Humidity and condensation, daily | Under-canopy air sits at near-saturation humidity with constant temperature swings. Glass does not absorb moisture, does not yellow and does not craze: its photon transmission stays stable where lesser covers slowly haze over. |
| 🧪 Foliar sprays and cleaning chemistry | Rooms that run aggressive sanitation, peroxide, acid or alkaline cleaners, heavy foliar programmes, etch and cloud polymer covers. Glass shrugs off contact chemistry that would visibly degrade a plastic lens within a season. |
| 📈 Stable output, fewer replacements | A cover that stays clear means the PPFD you installed is the PPFD you keep. Over a multi-year fixture life, that is the difference between the spec sheet and the reality on your quantum sensor. |
| 📏 Slim housing built for low mounting | The low-profile glass panel sits in an aluminium frame designed for fixed under-bench and in-canopy mounting, where bars stay put and light the lower bud sites all season. |
| 🧩 Same platform as the range | Deep-red spectrum, 0–10V dimming and RJ12 daisy chain are identical to the rest of the range: the Pro slots into the same control layer and controller as your other SLTMAKS fixtures. |
| 🧰 OEM/ODM and mix-and-match | Spectrum, PPFD target, logo, LED brand, housing colour, driver, style and design are all configurable, and Glass Cover bars mix cleanly with Basic or 270° bars in one room. |
Deep-red full spectrum behind optically clear tempered glass. Customizable per crop protocol.
This under canopy led grow light runs a full spectrum with deep red output. Deep red drives flower development at the lower bud sites, where canopy-filtered light runs short on red. The tempered glass cover is optically clear and does not yellow or haze with age or sanitation chemistry, so the deep-red output the fixture leaves the factory with is the output it still delivers seasons later.
Under OEM/ODM the spectrum can be tuned to your crop protocol, and because the glass light path leaves the spectral mix untouched, a tuned recipe behaves the same in year one as it does in year five.
We do not publish a generic spectral power distribution curve, because published curves are catalogue graphics rather than a measurement of this fixture. A measured spectral report for your configuration is available on request and ships with the order.
Values are the series range across the Pro Glass Cover builds. Efficacy is verified per production batch on our in-house integrating sphere; the test report ships with the order.

| Where the Pro Glass Cover fits | |
|---|---|
| 💦 High-humidity flower rooms | Near-saturation air and daily condensation are exactly the conditions the glass cover was engineered for, season after season. |
| 🧴 Aggressive sanitation programmes | Peroxide, acid or alkaline cleaning regimes etch polymer covers; the glass build follows the same washdown calendar as the benches. |
| 🌿 Heavy foliar feeding | Spray drift lands on everything under the canopy. Glass shrugs off contact chemistry that clouds a plastic lens within a season. |
| 🔁 Mixed rooms | Run Glass Cover bars where conditions are worst and Basic bars elsewhere, all on one RJ12 control chain. |
| 🏗️ Retrofits and upgrades | The under-canopy layer is planned around your existing top light, so upgrading does not touch the top-light estate. |
At full output on a 12/12 flowering photoperiod, a 120W 4Ft build draws about 1.44 kWh per day. Dimming brings that down further, and the exact draw of your configuration is confirmed in the test report that ships with each order.
Send your row layout and target lower-canopy PPFD, we reply with a bar count, a coverage comparison and a configured quotation.
Bar spacing depends on bench height, row width and canopy density: a generic table would mislead. Send your room and we return a layout with stated assumptions.
Humidity profile, cleaning and spray regime, and how often bars get washed down: this is what the glass cover is chosen for.
Fixture count and wattage: under-canopy bars are planned around your existing top light, not instead of it.
You get a bar count, wattage per bar, and estimated lower-canopy PPFD with stated assumptions.
Configured pricing, warranty term and lead time.
When your room runs high humidity with heavy condensation, aggressive cleaning chemistry, or frequent foliar spraying. If the bars will be washed down weekly with chemical cleaners, a polymer cover will haze within a couple of seasons and lose transmission: the glass build is the one that keeps its spec.
No. We use high-strength tempered glass: a hardened, low-profile glass panel in an aluminium frame, designed for under-bench and in-canopy mounting where bars are fixed and not handled.
No. Transmission across the PAR and deep-red range stays effectively full; the PPE range is the same 2.8–3.0 µmol/J as the rest of the line, verified per batch on our integrating sphere.
Yes. 0–10V dimming and RJ12 daisy chain make the Pro compatible with most third-party controllers, so the under-canopy layer can be scheduled with the rest of the room.
Yes. OEM/ODM covers spectrum, PPFD target, logo, LED brand, housing colour, driver, style and design. Samples are typically ready in 1–5 days and mass production runs 15–35 days depending on volume.
No special maintenance beyond the room's normal cleaning cycle. The anti-corrosion glass does not haze, yellow or craze, so transmission stays at installed levels for the life of the fixture.
Send us your current top grow lamp fixture counts and bench layout, and we'll reply with an under-canopy lighting plan and a configured quotation.
